TONIGHT: Indian Filmi Foray

I recently traveled to India for the first time, and while I marveled at all the historic sites and filled up on incredible food, what I really couldn't get enough of was the music. Tonight starts a series featuring Indian music in all its various, glorious forms. I'll start the show with filmi, Indian film music, mostly Bollywood, but also "Tollywood", or films in Telogu, the language of Andhra Pradesh, and some hits in Tamil as well. I've got some great tabla music as well for pre-bedtime. And I'm going to be kicking off a travel writing series- so polish off those pieces you've been saving from your travels and get them ready to send in.
Listen up tonight at 9pm on 97.5FM!

Hey there, cowboy.
